Cliff Numark

President

Cliff has been a congregant of Temple Menorah since he was 7. At the synagogue, he had his Bar Mitzvah, confirmation, met his wife Diane, married and where his two children Peal and Lincoln were named. Cliff previously served twice on the temple’s board of trustees, once as treasurer. He was elected Governing Board Member of El Camino College in 2013, after being elected twice to the Torrance City Council. Professionally, Cliff is a national vice president of the American Red Cross.

Les Latner

1st Vice President

Former president of the Board of trustees.

Jonathan E. Johnson

2nd Vice President

Jonathan has been a member of Temple Menorah since 2001, and joined the Board in 2015. He serves on the Religious Practices Committee, the Membership Committee, and the Finance Committee. He has also served as a Gabbai since February 2015, taking over for long-time Gabbai Allen Shall (of blessed memory). His children attended Tuvia and are now in Religious School -- two in sixth grade and one in tenth grade. His wife Marisol is a member of Temple Menorah Sisterhood.

Philip Harding

Treasurer

I joined Temple Menorah in 2013, shortly after retiring from the business world, and almost immediately became a member of the Board of Trustees. To help manage the finances I volunteered to become the Treasurer, a position I have held since that time. During my tenure I helped refinance our mortgage, became the chairman of the Finance Committee, and made extensive improvements in our reporting structure.

Marcia Spanier

Corresponding Secretary

Marcia has been with the temple since the beginning.

Gary Flam

Trustee

My family has been members of Temple Menorah for 4 years now and I am going on my 3rd year as a Trustee. I am also a member of the Finance Committee. My wife, Nadine, has chaired many events over the past few years and my 3 daughters, Emma, Zoe, and Daphne, all attend the religious school. For all of us, the Temple Menorah community is an integral part of our lives.

Dennis Forel

Trustee

I am serving in my third year as Parliamentarian for the Temple Menorah Board of Trustees. I and my family have been members of Temple Menorah for close to 25 years. My sons Samuel and Jonathan went through Religious School celebrating both their B'nai Mitzvahs and Confirmation. They remain active as members of our Temple Band Za'atar.

Just as we have I hope that you find Temple Menorah to be a sharing and caring community for all your religious needs.

Ronnie Glassman

Trustee

Ronnie Glassman has been a member of Temple Menorah since she converted to Judaism in 2009. She is currently continuing her studies in the adult b'nai mitzvah class at Temple Menorah. She joined the board of trustees in 2017 with a professional background in Human Resources. Her kids, Madeleine and Mia attended Tuvia (as did her husband). Madeleine will be starting Religious School this year.

Faith Goldman

Trustee

I have been a member of Temple Menorah since we moved here in 1980. I consider this religious institution as my home away from home especially since I retired from a long career as a Physical Therapist.

My love of baking, singing, writing non-fiction stories, speaking on the Jews of Shanghai, working with seniors, and serving on both Sisterhood and Temple Boards has become who I am like a beautiful braid.

There is a place for everyone here.

Joe Porzucki

Trustee

Joe and Elaine Porzucki are long time members of Temple Menorah. Their children Nina, Michael, and Jill have all gone through B'nai Mitzvah and confirmation at the Temple. Joe has served at various positions on the Temple Board of Trustees and Elaine has served as Sisterhood co-president. Joe is an electrical engineer who retired from Boeing and does part time consulting on Satellites and Avionics. Looking forward to many more years with our wonderful community.

Megan Cotugno

Trustee

Megan & Peter Cotugno have been members of Temple Menorah since 2011. Their sons Vince (age 10) and Max (age 8) are Tuvia Preschool graduates and are now attending Religious School. This year, Megan will contribute chiefly to Membership (with committee chair Jen Molod) and Ways and Means (with committee chair Melissa Williams).
