Two Camps to Rule Them All
Camp Menorah (k-6th Grade)Campers are grouped by age and/or grade, lead by both senior and junior counselors. In addition to the camp activities, campers go swimming and/or field trips each week. Programs stimulate camper imagination, encourage critical thinking and Jewish experiential learning, making their experience at camp like no other! 5th and 6th graders will have a project-based camp experience. Every few weeks a project will be introduced, to be worked on from conception to completion in their time at camp.Minimum 2-week enrollment.
Club Noar (7th-9th)Campers are ready to take on leadership opportunities! Planning their own events, CIT Training and even marketing, campers start to understand the meaning of responsibility. Each week these teams will focus on specific traits of camp staff, gaining insight into the importance of these characteristics and skills.Minimum 2-week enrollment.
Camp for the CommunityCamp Movie Night (7/18): Cozy up outside with your beach chairs, blankets and your favorite beverage! Popcorn included.Sleepovers (7/12 & 8/9): Two sleepovers will be offered for campers to have extra bonding time with each other and their counselors.Camp Shabbat (7/28): Relax and unwind after a busy week. Kabbalat Shabbat Services feature all campers and staff in a relaxed atmosphere outside on the patio. Dinner and social time follow.Babysitting: Trust our qualified staff with your precious littlest ones in the comfort of your own home! This service is based on staff availability and is not a function of Camp Menorah.
Camp Menorah strives to provide our campers with a safe, nurturing Jewish camp experience and well-rounded, quality programs. Our goal is to instill pride in Judaism through a dynamic combination of athletics, water sports, arts & crafts, field trips and enriching activities. Campers will develop an understanding of what it means to be a part of a Jewish community, and learn about themselves as individuals. By exposing our campers to the beauty of our Jewish heritage, we proved them with amazing memories that will strengthen their Jewish identity.
Safety & TransportationCampers are assigned to groups according to age and grade. Each group has a trained and reliable team of counselors responsible for their safety. For identification purposes, camp t-shirts, free with registration, must be worn on all field trips. Transportation for all field trips will be provided in buses equipped with seat belts and driven by trained, experienced and licensed bus drivers.
Hot Lunch & Food GuidelinesAll of our campers can sign up for our Kosher-style Hot Lunch Program. Details and menus can be found in the registration packet posted on our website. Absolutely NO PEANUTS are allowed at Camp Menorah.
