RCC November 2020 Calendar
Field trips, delicious food, provocative speakers, and spiritual/intellectual presentations!
Temple Menorah's Rosenberg Cultural Center is dedicated to continuous intellectual, spiritual and physical well-being through one's adult life. At no point on this continuum should one neglect to challenge oneself or to make new discoveries about one's passions. The Rosenberg Cultural Center strives to facilitate this process through cognitive and spiritual stimulation, physical activity and multi-generational interactions with the Temple Menorah community and the larger Jewish community. Stressing opportunities for social interaction, relevant speakers of Jewish interest and classes that both challenge and entertain, the Center provides seniors with a conduit to continued self discovery.
Open for Programming!
We are pleased to announce that programs in the Rosenberg Cultural Center have resumed, featuring a schedule of films, classes, workshops, and other social and intellectual activities.
A daily charge of $14.00 for Temple Menorah members or $16.00 for non-members covers all the activities including a catered lunch, speakers and enrichment programs. Both members and non-members can also purchase a subscription, which provides six tickets at the discounted price of $72 for members and $84 for non-members.
We also plan to offer field trips to various local cultural centers and points of interest. The daily fee depends on the cost of transportation and the admission price to the specific venue. Lunch is not provided on field trip days but is available for purchase at or near the venues.
Most programs are held on Wednesdays from 11:00am-2:00pm, with adjusted hours as necessary for field trips. In addition, we offer Monday sessions on a week-by-week basis, including our new partnership with the Beach Cities Health District. Each month we also offer a weekday evening or weekend event open to the entire Temple Menorah community.
RSVPs are appreciated for each program date so that we can plan materials and lunch, but there is always room for drop-ins and bringing friends along. Some field trips may require formal reservations due to the security requirements of the venues.
